Mickey’s House Ribbon Cutting

Project H.O.M.E.’s Mickey House had its Ribbon Cutting and House Dedication on November 1st at 3:30 pm. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was originally scheduled for September 7, 2018, but had to be rescheduled due to Hurricane Irma.

With a simple snip by the City of North Charleston’s Mayor, Mr. Keith Summey, Charleston County School Board members, and community leaders, Mickey’s House officially opened in North Charleston; The first of what people hope will be many to come.

The house is located on Explorer Drive in North Charleston.

Project Home Foundation exists to provide structured and nurturing home environments for displaced male students ages 17 to 21 and facilitate their success in learning and life. Mickey’s House – the first result of this initiative, exists to provide a safe home for male students.
