Mr. Kim Wilson retired from the Charleston County School District as Executive Director of Secondary Learning.  Prior to that Mr. Wilson served as the Principal for R. B. Stall High School in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Mr. Wilson graduated from Glenville State College, West Virginia and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a major in Physical Education and a minor in English.  He holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Rehabilitation from Marshall University, a Master of Science degree in Physical Education from Marshall University, and a Specialist in Education with an emphasis on School Administration from the Citadel.

Mr. Wilson has been married for 40 years to Betsy Wilson also a retired teacher.  They have two children Whitney who works in the human resource office as a recruiter for Charleston County School District, and Wesley an engineer with HITT Construction group.

Mr. Wilson was recognized as the 1989 South Carolina Counselor of the Year, 2002-03 South Carolina Secondary Assistant Principal of the Year, 2006 South Carolina Association of Student Councils Administrator of the Year, and the 2013-14 South Carolina Secondary Principal of The Year.

Mr. Wilson currently is a self-employed Educational Consultant and provides Capturing Kids Hearts training for educators across the United States.
